How to Measure your pet:
For an accurate gauge of size please use a fabric measuring tape and mark the distance for the dogs neck, body, and back.

#1) Neck: Measure comfortably the entire distance around the neck.

#2) Body: Measure comfortably the entire distance around the body just behind the front legs.

#3) Back: Measure precisely the entire distance from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

All clothing sizes represent the length of the garment which will correspond with Classy Sassy Paws's base of the neck to the base of the tail measurement. For full grown dogs we recommend subtracting one to two inches from the neck to tail measurement to find an appropriately fitting garment.
For growing puppies a garment representing the exact neck to tail measurement will provide a little extra room. Because dog's are so disproportionate to one another not all items will fit perfectly. However, we will make every effort possible to ensure your dog receives an item that you feel fits best.

To determine the proper size for your dog we also ask that you feel free to email us with any sizing questions you may have. Ultimately, the responsibility of sizing rests with the consumer. Should you have questions, we will promptly respond to your inquiry so that no time is wasted in pampering your pup.
